Dr. Okubo is currently serving as Chairman of Radiation Effects Research Foundation in Hiroshima, Japan. He is Professor Emeritus of the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in Kitakyushuu, Japan and an Honorary Member of ICOH. His major field of interest is occupational epidemiology, especially in occupational cancer and recently radiation epidemiology.
